The age of modern friendship

Technology has ruined friendships (or were you always an asshole?)
The false facade of relationships in social media is in stark contrast to actual relations between people.

You have liked my posts and comment on them regularly.
Yet:
- you cannot carry on a polite conversation for three minutes in person
- you have not tried to organize a get together (since the last three times you bailed)
- the fact that we haven't seen each other for a while (a few years) doesn't actually matter. It's not very convenient for you to get together when we're in the same city
- it's so easy to cancel. It's so easy to bail. Flaking is the new norm. I'd be surprised if you showed up.
- having great (text) messaging banters and enjoying the same topics on the net doesn't mean that when we are together you get to
TREAT OUR FRIENDSHIP LIKE A SECOND CLASS RELATIONSHIP

I fully realize I'm not your first priority, but where I am concerned in your life, you should re-think strategy or I won't actually be in it for long.

2014. New ... something. Whatever. Don't be a fake.
